KnotForever is a Mumbai-based wedding management company, established in
2003 by Tejal Kadakia, for the growing demand for professionally managed
weddings.
Weddings are celebrated once in a lifetime and it is important that
every person who is part of this joyous occasion, from the bride and groom to
the families, friends and guests, should enjoy the festivities to the fullest. Many
of us have been part of a wedding ceremony and have witnessed how frantic
the preparations can get. Brides, grooms, parents, uncles, aunts, cousins and
friends, all get so wrapped up in the organization and last minute preparations,
that pre-wedding enjoyment is replaced by stress— the very purpose of
wedding celebrations are forgotten.
KnotForever was established with a strong desire to become an integral part of
the wedding planning process, to make it a wonderful and enjoyable experience
for the family. A company dedicated to planning all types of weddings and
related events. Our aim is to carefully plan, from start to finish, all activities
between the family and various service agencies in a systematic manner,
keeping in mind the specific needs of each client. This includes everything, from
venues, budgets, invites, decor, catering, travel and lodging and much more
right up to sending the ‘thank you’ cards to your guests. In addition, we also
offer our knowledge and services, where required, for selecting and purchasing
the wedding jewellery from our in house jewellery department.
Our services can, of course, be adapted to any special requirements.
Some of
our complete planning projects have involved overseeing over 100 international
guests and 300 local guests, who had come to Mumbai for three big events
spread over two days. Besides organising the Sangeet, Cocktail and Wedding
ceremonies at different venues, our tasks involved personally welcoming guests
at the airport, arranging hotel transfers, organising guided and chauffeured
tours within Mumbai, fashioning a ‘doli’ (palanquin) from flowers which was
used to seat the bride in the traditional ‘bidai’ ceremony after the wedding and
designing a special information book to the best of restaurants, shopping,
nightlife and sight seeing in Mumbai for the benefit of the outstation guests.
Post-wedding organisation included working closely with the selected travel
agent for guests who were traveling onwards throughout the country.
